Rangers Players Having Fun

This past weekend was the Park Place Dealerships Texas Rangers Triple Play Game Show Spectacular and the guys didn’t disappoint.  The event is held each year to raise money for the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation.

Here are a few of my favorite moments from the night.

IMG_9786Derek Holland, Robinson Chirinos, Carlos Corporan, and Ross Detwiler were cocky during Win, Lose, or Draw.

The other team didn’t stand a chance with Nick Martinez, Shawn Tolleson, Colby Lewis, and Anthony Bass working their magic during Win, Lose, or Draw

Losers had to wear the jesters hats.

Elvis Andrus, Adrian Beltre, Prince Fielder, and Adam Rosales were all smiles in the beginning of Fielders Feud.

Both teams are ready to play Fielders Feud.

Sure, laugh at the other guys… Little did they know they wouldn’t have any points at the end of the game.

Leonys Martin calls his shot… and got the points!

Worth triple points for his answer, Martin high-fives his teammates – Mitch Moreland (and I can’t remember why he was on the outfielders team), Carlos Peguero, and Shin-Soo Choo.

The Infielders lost and had to wear silly over sized bow ties!  They were good sports about it.

And the best part of the night, the Rookie Song. All the rookies dress up and perform (terribly) a song on stage.  This years song was Baby by Justin Bieber.  Ryan Rua was Justin, Delino DeShields was Luda and rounding out the group was Tommy Field, Alex Claudio, and Keone Kela.

The Biebs… I mean… Ryan and the guys had a good time.  I’m sure they were nervous, but it’s all in good fun.

Until next time, Go Rangers!

Hello Summer! Glad you’re back.

I’ve lived in DFW my whole life and I love the summer.  I’m not particularly fond of how hot it was last year, but every year I look forward to summer. The sun is up longer, the pools are open, and Rangers Baseball is in full swing.

And the past couple of years, the summers have been even hotter with the boys playing baseball like there is no tomorrow.

I wanted to share a few pictures with you that I didn’t use on facebook, twitter, and our other social sites. Which reminds me… did you know the Rangers are on five social networking sites? Yep, five!

Find us on one… or ALL… of these sites and keep up with Rangers Baseball socially.

And now to the good stuff, a few pictures from last homestand:

Nelson Cruz meets with kids in the “just keep livin” program. He kind of looks like Superman in this picture… and I’m sure to these kids he’s a super hero!

Elvis Andrus answers Emily Jones phone before his interview. He’s always clowning around.

Adrian Beltre signs autographs for fans before going to batting practice.

If there is something you’re interested in regarding Rangers and our social media, please message me and let me know.  You can message me on my blog, send a message on Facebook ( or tweet @Rangers on twitter.

Until next time, I hope you enjoy the start of your summer.
